Privacy policy

This policy covers the groundlark.com website, including when you contact us or ask about Groundlark. It does not cover information that customers store in the Groundlark application. That information is handled under the customer's subscription agreement.

When you email us or use a form on this site, we receive the details you choose to send. That usually means your name, your business name, and your email address, and sometimes your website, phone number, and a message about your business.

If you book a walkthrough through a scheduling service such as Calendly, that service collects your booking details under its own privacy policy and shares them with us so we can meet with you.

Our booking page loads Calendly's scheduling widget. Calendly may use cookies and similar technologies under its own privacy notice; its cookie controls are available within the widget. We do not add advertising pixels or general-purpose visitor analytics to our own pages.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. We use it only to operate and secure the site.

When available, starting the AI assistant sends your messages and relevant conversation context to OpenAI to generate replies. Answers may be mistaken; confirm product scope and availability with our team. Do not share passwords, payment details, or sensitive customer information in chat.

Starting chat sets an essential, HttpOnly conversation cookie for up to 30 days and stores a conversation reference in your browser session. We retain anonymous transcripts for 30 days, or 90 days when you explicitly send a contact request linked to the conversation. Automated cleanup runs at least daily while the service is operating. Backup copies expire according to our backup schedule and are not used for ordinary review.

Chat does not automatically send a sales inquiry. You review your contact details and click Send my request before they are saved for follow-up. Starting a new conversation clears the current view; it does not immediately delete server records. Contact us to request access or deletion. OpenAI processes requests under its applicable provider terms; we do not claim zero provider retention.

We use the information you send us to reply to you, arrange walkthroughs, send the information you asked for, and follow up about Groundlark. We use technical information to keep the site running and protect it from abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

We share information only with service providers that help us run this site and communicate with you, such as our website hosting and email providers. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

We keep your messages and contact details for as long as we need them to respond to you and for our ordinary business records. When we no longer need them, we delete them.

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@groundlark.com. We will respond within the time the law requires.

Our own pages do not change their behavior based on a Do Not Track signal. Third-party scheduling controls are managed within Calendly.

We use reasonable measures to protect the information we receive, including encrypted connections to this site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
